Vestheim Ungdomssenter is committed to providing exceptional service to our guests. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require reservation cancellations. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy.

2. Cancellation Fees

The cancellation fees are based on the total reservation amount and the notice period before the scheduled event. Please note that these fees apply to all types of reservations, including weekend events, room rentals, and one-day events.

1. More than 2 months prior to the event:

   • 10% of the total reservation amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

2. Between 2 months and 1 month prior to the event:

   • 30% of the total reservation amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

3. Less than 1 month prior to the event:

   • 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

3. Process for Cancellation

• Guests must notify Vestheim Ungdomssenter in writing (via email or official communication channels) about their intention to cancel.

• The cancellation date will be considered the date when Vestheim Ungdomssenter receives the written notice.

4. Refunds

• Refunds will be processed within 14 days from the cancellation date.

• Any bank or transaction fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refunded amount.

5. Exceptions

• In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable events), Vestheim Ungdomssenter will review cancellations on a case-by-case basis.

Explanation: The reservation amount refers to the total cost that the guest was expected to pay if the event proceeded as originally reserved. It includes charges for accommodation, food, and any other services associated with the reservation. Essentially, it represents the full value of the booking.
